Growth Guides
Growth Group Facilitators are essential to fostering a supportive and engaging environment within our weekly Growth Groups. They will moderate group discussions, ensuring that conversations flow smoothly, and all members feel included and heard.
Responsibilities:
- Moderate Weekly Meetings: Lead and guide discussions during the weekly Growth Group meetings, ensuring everyone has a chance to contribute.
- Encourage Participation: Actively engage members, asking open-ended questions, and keeping the conversation on track.
- Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for group members, addressing any concerns or questions that arise.
- Provide Feedback: Report group progress and any issues to the leadership team to ensure continued improvement and support.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in facilitating group discussions (preferred).
- A passion for helping others grow and connect.
Connection Coordinators
Connection Coordinators are vital in bringing our community together in person. They will coordinate and host local meetups, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and that members have a positive experience.
Responsibilities:
- Location Coordination: Research and select venues for regional meetups, ensuring they are accessible and conducive to group activities.
- Organize Reservations: Handle the logistics of reserving venues and any necessary equipment or materials.
- Point of Contact: Be the go-to person for attendees, providing directions, answering questions, and ensuring everyone feels welcome.
- Event Promotion: Promote regional meetups within the community, encouraging members to attend and participate.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and event planning skills.
- Ability to manage logistics and troubleshoot on the go.
- Enthusiasm for building in-person connections within the community.
Digital Ambassadors
Digital Ambassadors are the heartbeat of our online community, ensuring that our Facebook group remains active, supportive, and aligned with our values. They will answer questions, guide discussions, and post content that encourages engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor Group Activity: Regularly check the Facebook group to answer questions, provide guidance, and ensure discussions remain respectful and on-topic.
- Ignite Engagement: Post content that sparks conversation, shares resources, and fosters a sense of community.
- Moderate Discussions: Step in when necessary to keep conversations aligned with community guidelines and address any issues that arise.
- Provide Support: Assist members in navigating the group, finding resources, and connecting with others.
Qualifications:
- Experience with social media, particularly Facebook groups.
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
- A passion for online community building.
Chapel Moderators
Chapel Moderators play a key role in our online chapel services, ensuring that everything runs smoothly from a technical and community standpoint. They will manage the Zoom room, share announcements, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.
Responsibilities:
- Zoom Management: Open and manage the Zoom room, ensuring that all participants are able to join smoothly and that any technical issues are addressed promptly.
- Moderate Services: Guide the flow of the service, introducing speakers, sharing announcements, and ensuring that everything runs according to schedule.
- Engage Attendees: Foster a warm and welcoming environment, encouraging participation through chat and other interactive features.
- Support Speakers: Provide logistical and technical support to speakers, ensuring they have what they need to present effectively.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Zoom or other video conferencing platforms.
- Strong organizational and technical skills.
- A passion for creating meaningful and smooth-running virtual experiences.
